Safety

Shipping-Container.com helps buyers, renters, suppliers, and site hosts connect around container projects. This page explains practical safety expectations for using the Site and evaluating third-party suppliers.

1. Supplier checks

Supplier listings may include business details, service areas, product counts, and public website links. Before signing a contract or sending payment, confirm the supplier's legal name, physical location, insurance, delivery scope, and written terms.

2. Quotes and payments

Treat online quotes as estimates until a supplier confirms pricing, availability, delivery fees, taxes, and site requirements in writing. Use traceable payment methods and avoid sending payment to unrelated accounts or contacts that cannot be tied back to the supplier.

3. Delivery and site safety

Confirm access roads, ground conditions, clearance, permits, and unloading responsibilities before scheduling delivery. Containers are heavy equipment; delivery and placement should be handled by qualified operators using appropriate equipment.

4. Account and data safety

Use strong passwords, keep account access private, and contact us if you believe your account or inquiry information has been misused. We will never ask for your password by email.

5. Report concerns

Report suspicious listings, misleading supplier claims, account concerns, or unsafe behavior at hello@shipping-container.com.
